CRYSTAL THERAPY
As previously stated, crystals have been used for healing, spiritual enlightenment, jewelry and adornments for tens of thousands of years. Not only for their holistic purposes, they have also been procured for their physical and atomic structures and used in scientific research and every day items. QUARTZ Let's take Clear Quartz as an example of a crystal used for both healing and spirituality and commercially. Holistically: Clear Quartz is a Master Crystal which means it can be used on any part of the body for healing, holds higher order over other crystals and can be used for the connection to your higher self , the cosmos and All That Is. Commercially: If you look at your watch or time piece somewhere it will have the word 'quartz' written on it. What that means is the time keeping mechanism contains a small piece of quartz crystal. The quartz is used because it vibrates at a specific frequency which when reduced through the electronics, produces the perfect one vibration which is the 'second' that is used for the time piece. The tick of the second hand. For example, quartz has a frequency of 32,000 Hertz which means it vibrates 32,000 times per second...remove all the zeros from the frequency and keep dividing by 2 you'll get: Half of 32=16 Half of 16= 8 Half of 8=4 Half of 4=2 Half of 2=1 therefore 1 vibration = 1 second It is truly amazing that a simple piece of quartz can take you spiritually to the highest heights and keep you on time as well! |

CRYSTALS AND CHAKRAS
Relating back to the section on Chakras and Chakra Healings, each Chakra has a corresponding colour frequency. With the colour of each Chakra there are corresponding 'coloured' crystals that hold frequency, opening and animating the energy centres. CRYSTAL PENDULUMS For as long as crystals have been used for spiritual purposes, someone has hung a crystal off a piece of string, hemp or hide and allowed it to swing. Divination or dowsing, 'yes/no' questions and healing in the aura are some of the many uses for the pendulum. For healing in the aura, we need to look at a little science to partially explain the how this works.... If we take away the esoteric essence of the aura, it is the body's magnetic field. In electrical circuits 101, if you pass an electric current through a wire, a magnetic field is produced at right angles to the flow of current. Consequently, if we create a moving magnetic field around a wire, you induce an electric current. This is how electricity is produced in an electric turbine. Electricity and magnetisim are synonymous. The human body contains over 70,000 nerves. These nerves have electrical currents running up and down them all day every day. This electrical activity generates a magnetic field, therefore, the aura. TO CREATE HEALING, CHANGE THE BODY'S ENERGY. CHANGE THE BODY'S ENERGY, YOU CHANGE THE BIO-ELECTRICS. CHANGE THE BIO-ELECTRICS, YOU CHANGE THE BIOCHEMISTRY. CHANGE BIOCHEMISTRY AND YOU CREATE FUNCTION... If we give instruction to the crystal pendulum to 'find and fix' and pass it through the aura, it will begin to swing of its own accord where there is imbalance. The motion of the pendulum influences the magnetic field which in turn makes changes within the body. As we cannot separate the part from the whole, we reintroduce the esoteric essence of the aura into the magnetic aura and we not only create a 'cause and effect' in the body but we can release and heal certain emotional and spiritual issues.
